A wine appreciated in the world since the end of the 19th century.
San Casciano dei Bagni follows the Tuscan tradition of the Sangiovese vine variety, characterizing the hills of Palazzone. An excellent Chianti is the local speciality, producers have obtained important international recognition since 1895, such as the Gold Medal and the Diploma of Honour of the Société Philomatique during the 13th Universal Exhibition in Bordeaux.
Besides Sangiovese, other vine varieties such as Malvasia, Canaiolo, Colorino and Trebbiano are used to realize our Chianti. All these vines find optimal conditions to express themselves at their best in the clayey and sandy soil of Palazzone.
